The Gun Merchant is a minor character who is only introduced in Bowser's Kingdom Halloween Special, Episode 666. He is a Koopa Troopa who, as his title implies, works as a merchant who sells guns. He does not have an actual name, as he's just referred to as a Gun Merchant.
Appearance[]
The Gun Merchant, based on his bandana and shoes, is supposedly a Blue Koopa Troopa. He also wears a gray cloak with a gray hood over his head. Beneath his cloak are ammo reserves and pockets. Behind the Gun Merchant's back is a big brown backpack. His face, mostly his eyes, is always seen with lowered eyelids.
Personality[]
The Gun Merchant acts as a Koopa Troopa of mystery. While having a lot of good weapons on sale, he calls everyone a "stranger," possibly showing evidence of distrust. Though he may be distrustful, he does give good advice that "gun's are not just about shootin', it's about reloadin'."
Bowser's Kingdom, Episode 666[]

In the Halloween Special, Bowser's Kingdom Episode 666, Hal and Jeff are in need of weapons as a zombie outbreak was rising. Jeff tells Hal that he knows a guy, which would be none other than the Gun Merchant.
As the pair arrive to the Gun Merchant's shop, Jeff asks on what he would recommend for "killing the undead." The Gun Merchant replies that he has a selection of good things on sale. When Hal asks if he can have the pistol, the Gun Merchant tells him that guns are not just about shooting but rather reloading. As Hal offers the Gun Merchant 40 coins, the Gun Merchant turns down this offer as he tells Hal that he doesn't have enough cash. But Hal, being selfish, grabs the pistol and shoots the Gun Merchant twice on the chest, killing him. Hal comments on who would even care about a "creepy Black Market merchant" in the middle of a zombie invasion. Hal and Jeff then raided most of the Gun Merchant's weapons to use to fend off the zombies.
